More Opposition parties boycott President’s all-party conference

Several political parties have announced that they will not attend the All-Party Conference summoned by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday (23).

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) National Organizer Tissa Attanayake said the Opposition party will not participate in the All-Party Conference to be held on 23rd March.

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, too, has announced that it will not participate in the conference.

The National Freedom Front (NFF) led by ex-Minister Wimal Weerawansa and the Pivithuru Hella Urumaya of former Minister Udaya Gammanpila have also said they will not attend the conference.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has announced that it will participate in the All-Party Conference.

However, the United National Party (UNP) is yet to reveal its stance on the conference.
