The President’s Media Division (PMD) announced that Dr Sudarshani Fernandopulle has been sworn in as the State Minister for Primary Health Services & Infectious Diseases & Covid-19 Prevention.
She was appointed the State Minister of Prison Reforms and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation following the General Elections 2020.
Her new appointment comes in the back of the unrest at the Mahara Prison yesterday, an incident which falls under her purview.
