NIMAL PERERA NAMED IN AUSTRALIAN STORY – https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-05-02/aspen-medical-greg-hunt-four-corners/101022086
Ahead of a broadcast on Australian national television later tonight, the corporate personality Nimal Perera clarified his involvement in the transaction.
Clarification from Mr Nimal Perera on the ABC article (copied from his tweet):
Sabre Vision Holdings was a subsidiary of a diversified business entity founded in 1918 in Sri Lanka & not owned by me, though I was named a beneficiary when the company I was employed acquired the company in question & appointed me as the Managing Director.
The Italian businessman mentioned in the article was introduced to me when I was looking to furnish my house. He owned an interior design company in 🇮🇹 & had provided his services to many who could afford him. He died unexpectedly from an illness he thought was under control.
This “investigative journalist” who disguised himself as a crew member gained access to my home & came at me like Al Capone in a bathrobe violating me in a variety of unsavory ways. Come through the right channels, get consent from 🇦🇺 HC in 🇱🇰 & I’ll invite you for some ☕️.
If the 🇱🇰 & 🇦🇺 “investigative journalists” care to to dig deep, to do some real reporting, they can get a transcript of the interviews at the FCID & learn & write the real story & save some journalistic integrity instead of printing such half-baked stories for cheap thrills.
