The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs said the Wakfs Board of Sri Lanka has decided not to permit Masjid’s to conduct Eid prayers on the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
The decision has been taken in view of the dynamic surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
