State Minister of Higher Education Dr. Suren Raghavan said steps would be taken to prepare a black list of university students found guilty of ragging or any other offences.
He said the university students involved in ragging, causing damage to state property, or incidents of violence would be blacklisted.
The minister further said such students would be considered as ineligible for government posts, scholarships or any other facilities provided by the government.
