Sri Lanka Police announced that part of the main Galle Road in the heart of capital Colombo will be closed from today until next Saturday due to the rehearsals of 70th Independence Day ceremony being held in Galle Face.
Accordingly, road from Galle face round-about to old Parliament round-about will be closed completely on these days from 7.00 AM to 12.00 noon.
The roads would be closed on 28th & 31st of January, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of February.
