According to the latest weather advisory issued by the Department of Meteorology, ongoing showery conditions are expected to remain over the next few days.
Several spells of showers will also occur in the Uva and Eastern Provinces, and showers or thundershowers are expected at several places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and Northwestern provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts after 2 p.m. In addition, misty conditions are expected in the Western, Northwestern, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces.
