Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera has said that 161 persons have been arrested over incidents of violence in the Kandy District during the past couple of days and 69 arrested persons have been arrested in other parts of the country.
The Police Spokesperson has also requested those who have suffered damages to property during recent incidents in the Kandy Police Division to report to nearest police station.
