A dead body of a woman was found on Senanayake Mawatha in Nawala.
Preliminary investigations have identified the deceased as a 62 year old woman and a resident of the Nawala area in Rajagiriya.
Body was found following a tip off to the Welikada Police.
Relatives say the deceased had died while returning home after visiting her son.
