Mr Basil Rajapaksa will be sworn as a Member of Parliament and as the Finance Minister on Thursday (08 July).
He will take take oath as the Finance Minister in front of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at 9:15 am today (08) and later be sworn in as a member of Parliament, said State Minister Nimal Lanza.
A front row seat has been reserved for Mr Basil Rajapaksa as he will be sworn in as a National List Member of Parliament today (08), said the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Parliament, Narendra Fernando.
