The Ceylon Electricity Board has taken steps to provide electricity, free of all charge, to those who were affected by the recent weather conditions.
General Manager of the CEB, K. Samarasinghe said that it has also taken steps to give a relief period of six months to pay the arrears.
He added that the new facility will provided once they are approved by the Grama Niladhari officer and district secretariats.
The Ceylon Eletricty Board says that the 95 percent of the electricity supply has been restored following the recent windy conditions which swept across the country.
