Two complaints lodged against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and Eastern Province Governor ALM Hizbullah have been directed to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for investigations, Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said at the security media briefing on Sunday.
SP Ruwan Gunasekara said police headquarters received two complaints against Minister Bathiudeen and Governor Hizbullah.
One of the complaints was made by Ven. Iththekande Saddhathissa Thero against both Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and Governor ALM Hizbullah.

The other complaint was lodged by Venerable Angurugalle Siri Jinananda Thero against Mr. Hizbullah.
However, the police headquarters have handed over both complaints to the CID for investigation.
