The Sri Lanka Air Force says that it has stopped providing helicopter rides or domestic flight services to cabinet ministers and state ministers without a special approval from the ministry of defense.
Spokesperson for the SLAF, Group Captain Dushan Wijesinghe said this decision was taken considering the fuel crisis and several other factors.
He further said that the Air Force has also decided to restrict the facility provided to the general public to book helicopters by paying money.
