An illegal liquor factory carried out in a house in Gemunu Mawatha, Homagama was raided by the Police.
610,000 ml of Goda, 32 bottles of Moonshine, and equipment used for the illegal production of liquor were seized.
The person who ran the factory had reportedly obtained an essential license to sell fish and had instead distributed ‘Moonshine’ when travel restrictions were in place.
The 51-year-old suspect will be produced before the Homagama Magistrate’s Court today (08).
