Priyantha Kumara ought to be hailed a hero – spreading Sri Lankan expertise over 9 years in Pakistan where he clearly was a success story. In the ensuing years he must have sent significant amounts of forex to the country and contributed to the economy of his land of birth.
My suggestion would be that Priyantha Kumara be awarded the highest civilian award in Sri Lanka for services to the country.
