Parliamentarian Dr Bandula Gunawardena hasted positive for Covid-19 becoming the 9th MP to test positive for the virus this month.
MP Gunawardena was subjected to a Rapid Antigen Test on Friday (27 Aug) which came back positive, the test was carried out after some of his staff had tested positive for the virus.
He requested all those who came in contact with him over the past week to self isolate as a precaution.
