After uncovering a racket where stolen goods were sold over the internet, the Sri Lanka Police issued a statement urging the public to take precaution when purchasing goods online and especially mobile phones.
The EMI numbers of the stolen mobile phones are available on www.ineed.police.lk which is maintained by the Sri Lanka Police.
The public is requested to visit the website to make sure they don’t purchase a stolen phone.
