President Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for London today to attend the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II.
The President will leave Sri Lanka early morning and will attend the funeral that will be held at Westminster Hall, London on Monday.
The UK’s longest-serving monarch Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
Sri Lanka has declared 19 September a day of mourning, while State institutions and schools have been granted leave in honour of the late Queen.
