President Maithripala Sirisena has informed leader of the United National Party Ranil Wickremesinghe to take oath as Prime Minister on Sunday the 16th of December at 10am at the Presidential Secretariat.
Speaking to BBC MP Dr. Rajitha Senaratne said no decision yet on the appointment of a Cabinet of Ministers.
MP Senaratne said the President informed his decision via a phone call to Ranil Wickremesinghe.
