The Ministry of Tourism has suspended the scheduled tour to Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa, following the issues that emerged after the Ukrainian tourist group visited the Yala National Park.
The Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya tourist zones are open for locals as per usual, the Central Cultural Fund (CCF) said.
The fourth batch of tourists from Ukraine will arrive at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport in Mattala at 2:15 PM today (Jan 04), said former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeeratunga.
