Building on its deep-rooted commitment to youth empowerment, Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB), launched its knowledge based CSR initiative by organizing a seminar for advanced level students in a bid to equip them with holistic knowledge that would steer them towards sustainable careers.  Titled, Citizens’ Wisdom Path and constructed on the theme, ‘Build beyond the future’, CDB conducted the seminar in Colombo for 310 students of the commerce stream and thirty teachers from select schools in the Western province. Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) showcased its support, as the Official Financial Service Provider of the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2017. This partnership is another addition to CDB’s national level sponsorships which falls in line with its corporate stature. The agreement was signed recently at a ceremony attended by Senior CDB personnel and SLIM officials. Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign – CSR initiative hits the road

The CSR initiative titled Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign was launched at the Independence Square on Friday morning. This initiative is jointly organised by the radio arm of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Ltd, MBC Media Networks, the project partner Chevron Lubricants Lanka, together with the Sri Lanka Police. The campaign aims to create awareness among the general public, inline with the upcoming festive season. The launch saw the participation of the Inspector General of Police, many high ranking officials from Police, members of The Capital Maharaja Organisation and Chevron Lubricants Lanka, and members of the general public.
