Three students hospitalised after Jaffna University clash

Three individuals were injured in a clash that erupted between two groups of students at the Jaffna University.

According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ratnam Vigneswaran, the clash had erupted between a group of third and fourth year arts students.

As a result of the clash the third year and fourth year classes of the arts faculty have been temporarily suspended, and orders have been issued preventing the 3rd year and 4th year students of this faculty from entering the university.

Three students who sustained injuries have been hospitalized.
