Treasure hunters have stolen ancient artifacts from the Sithulpawwa sacred grounds located inside the Yala National Park and have reportedly caused damage to the historic structure of the mystical rock and cave temple complex said the Director-General of Archeology.
Four suspects have escaped and one suspect was arrested in connection with the incident, authorities confirmed.
