The United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Mohamed Navavi, who was appointed through the UNP National list, has resigned from his post.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has informed the parliament of MP Navavi’s resignation this afternoon.
The National List MP has also resigned from the membership of All Ceylon Makkal Congress led by Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
