Two youths had assaulted a Railway Guard of a train that was stopped at the Dehiwala Railway on Tuesday morning (13 July).
According to the Police, the youths had attempted to board the train without wearing face masks and had assaulted the guard when he had warned and requested them to wear their face masks before boarding the train.
The injured Railway Guard has been hospitalised, while a complaint has been filed on the incident with the Dehiwala Police.
The Police have identified and arrested the suspects who are 20 and 27-year-old residents of Dehiwala.
The Duo will be produced in courts after being produced for an identification parade.
