Three more individuals have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus upon testing, stated the Ministry of Health.
The latest cases have been detected among the Sri Lanka Navy personnel, according to the Department of Government Information.
Thereby, the total count of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 1,887.
With 35 patients being discharged upon recovery today (14), the number of recoveries in Sri Lanka now stands at 1,287.
The Epidemiology Unit’s tally reads that 589 active cases are currently under medical care.
Sri Lanka has confirmed 11 deaths due to the COVID-19.
