Galle Road towards Pettah has been blocked for traffic near the Galle Face Roundabout due to a protest by a group of fishermen, Ada Derana reporter said.
The protest was organised demanding to reduce the price of diesel which was recently increased.
The protesters had attempted to march towards the Presidential Secretariat building in Colombo.
