The government has introduced a new procedure to categorize Covid-19 infected patients undergoing treatment at home.
The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) noted that this system will be implemented from today (19 Aug) in the Western Province.
Patients can message the 1904 hotline mentioning the details of their health conditions.
1.Condition of the infection
(A) Patients with breathing difficulties
(B) patients with fever
(C) Symptomatic patients

4. Address <space>
The information will then be forwarded to the relevant medical teams by the NOCPCO.
Based on the information received the medical teams will contact the patients via 247 and direct them to treatment centres.
Patients who have been directed to home base care will be contacted by the medical team via 1390 and provide the necessary instructions.
