Lanka IOC says it will take strict action against the fuel bowser which had given fuel in cans to an individual in Bambalapitiya today.
The video of the incident went viral in social media.
“Lanka IOC expresses deep anguish over the indulgence of the subject TT crew in the wrongful unethical activity. Strict action in line with the prevalent guidelines has been initialized against the concerned transporter.” Lanka IOC said in a note.

Meanwhile, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said that license of three fuel trucks have been suspended with immediate effect by CEYPETCO and LIOC pending further investigations into three incidents reported on social media pertaining to illegally unloading fuel.
