The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has taken special measures to assist Sri Lanka during the economic crisis.
The measures taken by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia aim at helping Sri Lanka obtain more foreign exchange.
Due to the impacts of the current economic crisis, the bank has waived the AUD$6 transfer fee if money is sent to friends and family in Sri Lanka until 11 September 2022.
Account-holders have been requested to enter the promo code: SUPPORTSL when transferring from an AUD account to Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) in NetBank or the CommBank app.
