Senior diplomat and veteran journalist, Bandula Jayasekara passed during the early hours of the previous day (05) after a battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome Blood Cancer.
His final rights were carried out at the Borella cemetery this afternoon (06).
Former speaker Karu Jayasuriya, former President Maithripala and various other personalities paid their final respects to the late Bandula Jayasekara.
