The Brazilian health minister, Mr Eduardo Pazuello is set to be sacked as more than 260,000 Brazilians have been killed by Covid-19 during a 10 month period.
Brazilian President, Mr Jair Bolsonaro named the army general his interim health minister on 16.05.2020 when the total death was nearly 15,000. During the 10 month period the death toll has risen to almost 280,000.
Mr Pazuello’s dismal performance earned him the nickname Pesadello (Nightmare), was the President’s third health minister during the pandemic.
