According to Lankadeepa online several persons traveling to Galle on bullock carts have been arrested by the Police for violating quarantine regulations.
Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) activist Kanishka Lanerolle was among those who were arrested.
The suspects were later released on police bail, Sri Lanka Police stated.
