Sri Lanka Customs seized an illegally imported stock of 55,000 kg Undu beans worth nearly Rs 38 million.
A businessman from Angoda has been revealed as the importer and has been taken in for questioning.
The importing of Undu beans to Sri Lanka has been temporarily suspended.
