A special Dengue eradication programme will be held in schools countrywide today, December 30, and tomorrow 31.
The programme targets at transforming these schools to Dengue free zones prior to the beginning of the new school term in 2018.
According to the Director of School affairs of the Education Ministry, Renuka Pieris, it is compulsory that all school heads record log statements confirming that the schools have been cleaned in a way that it provides a favourable environment to all children.
