The Bandaranaike International Airport says that fully vaccinated passengers with an endorsement of the Airport Health Office on their vaccination certificate are allowed to engage in duty-free shopping.
According to the BIA, vaccinated passengers who wish to do duty-free shopping will only be allowed to engage in shopping upon arrival.
Such passengers will not be allowed to utilize their duty-free allowance on a later date.
