The Sri Lanka Ramanna Nikaya has recommended that the Easter Sunday terror attacks be investigated by a panel comprising local and foreign judges under the supervision of Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith.
In a statement, Anu Nayake of the chapter Ven. Keppetiyagoda Sirinimala Thera said Channel 4 television’s claim the attacks were a plot by Muslim extremists to ensure the election of a Sinhala Buddhist leader was laughable.
It appears the British TV channel is attempting to create disturbances in the island, he said.
