A Cabinet paper will be submitted to the Cabinet of Minsters on Monday (30 Aug) to ban 07 single use plastic and polythene products, announced the Sri Lankan Ministry of Environment.
Accordingly the below mentioned items will be banned:
- Plastic Straws
- Spoons
- Plastic Cups
- Forks
- Knives
- Plastic string
- Garlands made from plastic
