An investigation will be conducted into the newsroom sexual harassment claims raised by several female journalists on social media, said the Ministry of Mass Media.
Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said an official complaint has not been filed yet in response to a question raised by a journalist during a media briefing on Tuesday (22).
The Ministry will reach out to the female journalists who have raised the allegations under a #metoo campaign on Twitter.
