Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has informed President Gotabaya Rajapaksa that he is ready to accept any decision taken by him over the Prime Minister position.
A senior official from Prime Minister’s office told NewsWire that Prime Minister had informed his stance to the President this morning.
Large group of Buddhist monks yesterday called on the President and the Government to immediately implement the Mahanayaka Theras’ proposals which requested the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to resign to make way for the appointment of an all party interim government.
Opposition parties have all ready announced that they will not be part of an all party government under President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
