Photographs and videos circulating social media yesterday (12) show 04 youths sitting out of the car while travelling on the highway from Kadawatha to Matara.
Police investigations revealed that the registered owner of the car is a resident of Peradeniya, Kandy. It was further revealed that the car was sold to a resident of Akurana.
Steps will be taken to bring them into custody, said Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
