Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will make a Special Statement in Parliament on Tuesday (05) regarding the progress of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Minister of Mass Media Bandula Gunawardena said in Parliament yesterday (04).
Dr. Gunawardena said that several rounds of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund have been held so far and the Prime Minister will make a statement in this regard.
Dr. Gunawardena made this observation in reply to Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Lakshman Kiriella who expressed his disappointment over the Government not enlightening the House regarding the developments of the discussions with the IMF.
