The Ministry of Education has decided to open all Primary Schools from grade 01 to 05 and Pre Schools from 11.01.2021, with the exception of those in the Western Province.
All schools will open under strict health guide lines.
Minister of Education, Prof G L Peiris stated that all the schools in Western Province and the isolated areas will remain closed until further notice.
