Prison officials have found a mobile phone in former Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen’s cell at the Magazine Prison in Colombo when they approached the cell for inspection.
The former MP is reported to have been on a call when the Prison Officials approached his cell, where reacted by throwing his mobile phone out the prison window.
However. the mobile phone was recovered by the Prison Officials, the Prisons Department said.
