30 doses of the Chinese manufactured Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine valued at nearly Rs.90,000 have been stolen from the Habaraduwa Medical Officer of Health (MOH).
The Public Health Inspector of the area had filed a complaint accusing a and minor staff attached to the Habaraduwa MOH of the alleged theft, Police Media Spokesperson said.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in charge of Galle has directed the Divisional Crime Detective Bureau to conduct investigations into the alleged theft.
