A 24-year-old resident of Narammala was arrested in Kochchikade by the Terrorism Investigation Division on Wednesday (07 July) following a joint investigation by the TID and the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The suspect was arrested for aiding extremist activities of the ringleader of the 2019 Easter Sunday Terror attack Zahran Hashim.
The suspect will be detained detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) and will be further interrogated by the TID.
