The police have set up roadblocks within the Colombo city and are currently searching suspicious vehicles and individuals, says the Police Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara.
The police stated that roads within the city are not closed.
The public is urged to cooperate with the security forces for ongoing search operations without causing unnecessary panic.
