Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has been briefed on the ongoing development projects at the Hambantota Port during a visit to the Port yesterday (14).
The Prime Minister said his visit had coincided with the Hambantota Port achieving the milestone of 500,000 roll-on and roll-off vehicles handled in 2021.
During his visit, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa had also laid the foundation stone for the port’s first Bonded Warehouse Project.
He had also inspected the construction sites of plants being set up by the Xinji Shenzhen Group and Ceylon Tire Manufacturing Company. COURTESY NewsWire
