Over 22,000 applicants for Korean language proficiency testing in 2018

The Korean Language Proficiency Test under the point system for the year 2018 for Sri Lankan youth who are seeking jobs in the construction and manufacturing fields in South Korea will begin on 19th March.

This year’s test will be conducted only on the computer and accordingly, each candidate will be able to obtain the date, time and the examination center on line through the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment website at www.slbfe.lk.

The exam will be held from 19 March to 4 May for employment in the construction field and will be held from May 25 to October 5 for the manufacturing field.

The computerized examination will be held at the Korean Computer Center, 205, Depanama, Pannipitiya.

For this year’s examination 22,581 applicants have been qualified while 19,157 are due to take the test for the Manufacturing sector and 3,424 will sit for the examination in the construction sector.

The Korean Language Proficiency Test is a mandatory requirement for the Employment seekers to Korea.
