The departure terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has been re-opened for the guests accompanying passengers from this afternoon (15).
Retired Major General GA Chandrasiri, the Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services said that the terminal was open since 12 noon today.
Accordingly, any passenger holding a valid air ticket can be accompanied by 03 other individuals at the departure terminal from here on.
The guests entering the terminal must wear a face mask and strictly follow health guidelines issued, said Ada Derana reporter.
Guests who arrive at the BIA must purchase a ticket worth Rs 300 to enter the departure terminal of the airport.
